A word from the president

I was born in Fez, and Fez is where I chose to build a business. After studying finance at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University and then at Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, I spent more than twenty-five years working in France: first a very brief spell in banking, then as a systems and network administrator for companies such as Mariage Frères and France Gourmet Diffusion, and today with the Sanef group as a cybersecurity consulting engineer.

From this dual culture I kept one conviction: trust is earned through rigour, transparency and closeness. That is the spirit of SMMS. With Mirzak Capit we make money transfers and everyday services easier; with Pierre & Lumières we support families, students and Moroccans living abroad with their property projects in Fez.

As a Moroccan living abroad, I wanted to bring home the know-how I gained overseas and put it, in my own way, at the service of Morocco’s development. That is also the meaning of SMMS’s next chapter: IT and cybersecurity services for businesses in Fez and its region.
